Choose the best sewing machine for beginners

Are you looking to buy your first sewing machine? This is for yours.

At first you need to determine what your budget is for a sewing machine and also if you want extras like decorative or embroidery stitches. You can find machines at the "mart" stores or online for less than $100. Or, you can do a little research online and find a good machine for you, even a good buy in a used machine for $100plus all the way up to $2000plus. So decide yourself how much you’ll cost for your first sewing machine.

There are many brands who are selling Sewing Machines. Some good brands that I can recommend are Bernina, Brother, BabyLock, Janome, Pfaff, and Elna, Viking, Husky. An older Singer from the 1930s to the 1960s are made better than some models being made now, but they don't have the bells and whistles of the modern machines. Many of the modern electronic machines have features like the touch buttons for stitch length, zig zig stitch, needle up/down button, decorative stitches, and some do not require oiling, just a yearly tune-up. So a brand name with some good features has to choose.
